Ke Yun was awarded Singapore General Hospital sponsorship to pursue Bachelor in Physiotherapy at Curtin University, Australia. She has over 10 years of experience in treating neurological patients with Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Spinal cord, and Traumatic Brain Injury patients. She has worked in the Neurosurgical ICU, Neuromedical and Neurosurgical wards,  step-down care, day rehabilitation centers, nursing home, home therapy, and also assisted neurological clients to return to work and reintegrate into the community. She is also trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation for dizzy patients.

She was invited by SPA Neuro Special interest group to do a webinar on "Motor control for functional recovery & Bobath Concept" for Physiotherapists in Aug 2020.

She firmly believes that neuroplasticity, also known as recovery, is not limited to the time frame as commonly known to be 6 months. Given time and adequate stimulation and variation in treatment, it is possible to push for recovery beyond 2 years. 
 

She is an avid learner who believes learning never stops. She attends conferences annually such as "Understanding atypical Parkinson's" in Seoul in 2018, Neurodevelopmental Bobath training in Poland in 2019. She has also attended "Advance Vestibular Rehabilitation training by Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2018.

Jing Cheng is an experienced Senior Physiotherapist practicing at Royal Square Novena Medical Centre. He has over 10 years of experience in treating Chronic pain, Orthopaedic and Geriatric conditions.

He had worked at various Private Hospitals, Singapore General Hospital, NTUC Health Elder Care and is currently a visiting Physiotherapist at Lions Home for the Elders.

He is passionate about solving complex musculoskeletal disorders and helping clients relief pain from trauma and illness. He has a special interest in the Shoulder, Spine, Hip and Knee joint conditions.

He has helped thousands of clients go through rehabilitation smoothly and achieved higher satisfaction after total knee/hip replacement surgery.

Evelyn is a dedicated speech and language therapist with vast clinical experience across settings such as acute hospital, community facilities, and home-based care. She is a passionate advocate for persons with aphasia and the founder of Aphasia SG, the first non-profit organisation supporting persons with aphasia and their caregivers in Singapore through community engagement activities and educational outreach programmes.
 

Evelyn specialises in the neuro rehab caseload; focusing on treatment of acquired communication disorders and swallowing impairment for adult clients who have suffered cerebrovascular accidents or traumatic brain injury. Equipped with advanced dysphagia management skills (VFSS) and a certified trainer of the Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (SCA) Approach, Evelyn believes that quality of life is an essential consideration in any speech therapy intervention plan and strives to optimise clients’ function through participation and activity.

Evelyn hopes to make Singapore a better place for all persons with communication and swallowing difficulties through her professional and volunteer work. In her free time, she enjoys being a word nerd and indulges in online Scrabble marathons. 

Cheryl graduated with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic and went on to obtain her BSc (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University of Technology. She has over 10 years of experience working in an acute hospital where she specialized in the area of inpatient rehabilitation. She has worked extensively with patients with neurological conditions like Stroke, Traumatic Brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and Spinal cord injury.

Cheryl is passionate about supporting clients to participate in meaningful occupations to achieve their goals. She is always interested in what matters to you and strives to journey alongside with her clients to maximise their quality of life despite illness or disability.

She believes in continuous learning to keep herself updated on the new trends in neurological rehabilitation to provide clients with evidence-based practice.

Sijie graduated with Bachelors in Occupational Therapy (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin and has been working as an Occupational Therapist for >10 years. He has a variety of experience working in different settings such as acute hospital, sub-acute setting, community hospital, nursing homes as well as home therapy. His varied exposure allowed him to better understand the needs of the individual at various stages of their rehabilitation journey. His main interest is working with people suffering from neurological conditions and aims to empower them in continuation of their engagement in daily activities or in leisure activities.

Besides clinical practice, he beliefs in life-long learning and is also a co-content creator of Instagram account InnovativeOTs which produces bite- sized information aiming at raising awareness of his profession and ways to enhance the practice.

Outside of clinical practice, Sijie enjoys long walks around nature parks, cycling to discover new places around Singapore, trying new food places as well as baking and feeding his bakes to people around him.
